Mr. UB Patnaik joins POSCO-India as Executive Director
Bhubaneswar, November 15, 2007: Leading technocrat and industry expert Mr. Uma Ballava Patnaik joined POSCO-India as Executive Director on November 15, 2007. A Mechanical Engineer Graduate with experience in Private and Public Sector industries in India, Mr. Patnaik superannuated from NALCO on October 31, 2007. He was with NALCO for last 17 years and was in charge of NALCO’s Smelter and Captive Power Complex at Anugul as the Executive Director for last three years.
He brings along 37 years of rich technical and management experience in plant operations, R&R, CSR and project management. During his tenure at NALCO as Executive Director, he led NALCO’s expansion program.
With his induction as Executive Director, the POSCO-India team has been further strengthened.
