Synopsis: With the help of POSCO, 25 patients from Jagatsinghpur District are undergoing treatment for Cleft-lip and Palate Surgery at the Plastic Surgery Department of SCB Medical College.
The operation will continue till 13th July. All the medical expenses will be borne by POSCO. It is the 1st CSR activity carried out by POSCO. 25 patients from Dhinkia, Nuagaon and Gadakujanga, Bayanalakandha, Bhunyapal, Polanga, Jatadhari, Noliasahi, have been identified for this cleft-lip operation. The Doctors from the Surgery Department of NSU will carry out these operations.
The patients were received at the SCB Medical by Ms. Nivedita Pradhan, Mayor of Cuttack along with POSCO-India CMD, Mr. Soung-Sik Cho and others.
