Synopsis: During the 4th International Iron & Steel Making Conference, the industrialists listed out problems faced in setting up projects while the State Govt. said challenges are ‘part of life’.

Mr. Sanak Mishra, India Head, Arcelor Mittal said, “Land acquisition problem is the bottomline truth which affects industrialization in the State. Three major problems faced by the industries are land acquisition, iron ore linkage and water sources.”

“Problems and solutions may vary with organizations. But certain problems are common to all,” admitted POSCO-India Head, Mr. Soung-Sik Cho. He asked the steel fraternity to join hands and come out with novel solution to usher in positive change.
