Despite setbacks, Posco to commence construction from April 1
Synopsis: The article states that Orissa government is hopeful that POSCO's proposed steel project at Paradip would come up soon. The Centrally Empowered Committee (CEC) appointed by Supreme Court said that POSCO's entire project plan should be taken as a single project for its ecological significance and rehabilitation plans. POSCO's spokesperson Mr. Shashank Patnaik said that the committee has given its recommendations however, the Supreme Court has not given its judgment on forest clearance.
