Synopsis: The condition of the 62 families who are staying in a college at Bhutmundei for the last 8 months after being ostracized by PPSS from Patana village in proposed plant site is improving day by day. POSCO Company is constructing a transit rehab colony at Badagabpur for these ostracized families. The construction work is in last phase. A senior official of the District administration said that these displaced families will be shifted to this transit colony very soon. After getting assistance from the POSCO Company, 2 wards staying in the college are encouraged to appear the matriculation exam this year and more will appear in the coming year. Now more 22 families are willing to leave the Patana village after watching the improving condition of these 62 displaced families.
